Questions
Straight answers to the questions people ask us most.
Money
- How do I cancel?
- Open billing, press cancel. Two steps, against three to subscribe. There is no retention offer, no survey, and nobody to email.
- What happens to my data if I cancel?
- Nothing, unless you also delete your account. Your résumés, applications and receipts stay where they are and you can still export them. Cancelling ends the billing, not the record.
- Why is there no weekly plan?
- Because a job search deserves a plan built around you succeeding, not a short, expensive sprint. Monthly is simpler, costs less over time, and you can pause the moment you land something.
- What if I get the job?
- Tell us and we pause the billing and keep everything. Coming back later costs nothing, and we would rather you did than pay us for a month you spent working somewhere else.
How it works
- Will you write my résumé for me?
- We will rewrite what is already on it, and we will not add anything to it. Every line in a tailored version has to trace back to your own document or to something you have confirmed is true. A draft that claims otherwise is blocked, not flagged — you cannot accept it even if you want to.
- Will you apply to jobs for me?
- Yes — and only after you have seen and approved exactly what will be sent. A person on our team fills in the employer's form by hand and submits it. AI finds and matches the roles; it never submits an application.
- Why not apply to hundreds of jobs at once?
- Because every application gets a real quality check from a person. We apply where you are a strong fit, not wherever we can — quality is not something we upsell.
- Where do the jobs come from?
- Employer applicant-tracking systems and job-board APIs, re-checked so we can tell you when we last confirmed a posting was open. We do not take listings from LinkedIn or Indeed, and we never will.
- Does it get past applicant tracking systems?
- We format every document so an applicant tracking system reads it cleanly, and we show you what a parser does with each choice — so your résumé arrives exactly as you meant it.
Your data
- Do you train models on my résumé?
- Not unless you switch it on, per purpose, and you can switch it back off. A new account has all of it off.
- Do you sell my data?
- No. We also have no employer-side product, so there is nobody on the other side of this to sell it to. Our only revenue is a subscription you can cancel, which is why our only route to revenue is your search working.
- Can I get everything back?
- Yes, as one archive, usually within a day. That includes your résumés as files, every application, every receipt with its hashes, and the derived data we hold about you.
- Does deleting actually delete?
- Yes — database, files, embeddings, search index, caches and queues, after a seven-day period in which you can change your mind. One billing record survives because tax law requires it, and it contains no résumé and no application.
